How SpamBrave works
SpamBrave uses a variety of techniques to block spam messages, but the most important one is its content-based technique known as Bayesian filtering. This technique is highly accurate and allows the spam filter to adapt to what you determine as spam, even if it is different from a traditional definition of spam.
Every time a new e-mail comes into your Inbox, the spam filter looks up the sender's e-mail address inside your Address Book to verify it. If the sender's e-mail address is verified, the e-mail is remained in your Inbox, thus SpamBrave guarantees that no one of the e-mail from your friends and colleagues is lost. Otherwise, the spam filter continues looking up within the Allow List and Block List and if the sender's e-mail address was not verified, the spam filter analyses the e-mail and sends it to one of three categories: spam, good or unsure. The spam filter allows good messages to stay in the Inbox; while the others are sent to the corresponding folders. If SpamBrave cannot be sure about what category to send a message, it sends it to the category of unsure messages.
What should you do if the spam filter cannot recognize the category of a message and places it in the "unsure" folder? With one click, you can mark the message as spam or not spam. Then the next time a similar message arrives, the spam filter will be able to classify it correctly.
